PROPERTY developer David Abrahams says he is in talks with a number of interested parties including film studios about his proposed billion pound business park near Durham.
The businessman says infrastructure plans are currently being drawn and he expects to spend £2m on groundworks at the Durham Green Business Park in the next year.
With the 570-acre site, close to the A1M, to be developed on a pre-let basis he said talks are currently under way with potential occupants.
His vision for the park, which he says will cost more than £1bn to develop and could eventually house 7,000 workers, is to create new industries for the region.
"I am talking to film studios and there are people in the film industry who are interested in coming to the region".
